The BTHA’s Toy Trust Christmas Card initiative returns

Published on: 18th August 2023

The British Toy and Hobby Association is bringing back the Toy Trust Christmas Card initiative which raises money for charity each year.

Toy Trust Christmas Card

An alternative to buying multiple Christmas cards for clients, the initiative gives those in the toy industry the opportunity to have their logo published on a double-page “thank you” spread in the December issue of Toy World magazine. Toy World donates the pages used for the festive message to the BTHA free of charge.

There is a minimum donation of £350 to take part, but larger amounts are hugely welcomed as all proceeds will support disabled and disadvantaged children through the work of the Toy Trust.

The ads in the trade media mean that companies can cut back on sending individual greetings cards – a move which not only raises approximately £10,000 for the Toy Trust but is also an environmentally friendly step which will go towards helping companies achieve their sustainability goals.

The Toy World December issue will be published at the start of December, both digitally and in print.

To take part, the company logo will need to be sent to Tracey Butcher at Tracey@btha.co.uk by Monday 30th October in order to meet the December issue deadlines.

Tracey can also be emailed for more information on the initiative.
