The Irish Toymaster Christmas catalogue launches this week, while the UK version will arrive from 25th September.

The Irish Toymaster Christmas catalogue goes live this week

Toymaster, the independent buying group, has unveiled this year’s much-anticipated Christmas catalogue.

The Toymaster Christmas Catalogue features all the key brands Toymaster members are stocking ahead of the festive season, and the front cover highlights a selection of the major suppliers and brands that will be appearing on the shelves of Toymaster stores this year.

As in 2022, the buying group is producing customised versions for individual members featuring their own branding, rather than the Toymaster brand. This hugely popular option allows Toymaster members to promote themselves locally among their own customer bases, and – as can be seen by the images below – has been taken up by a number of members including Toys ‘n’ Tuck and Hopkins Toymaster.

The colourful catalogues can be offered in-store, where shoppers can pick one up while browsing for or buying their latest purchase, or retailers can opt to have them distributed along with local newspapers. In total, the group anticipates that more than 2m copies of our catalogue will be distributed this festive season across the UK & Ireland.

Brian McLaughlin, development manager at Toymaster, told Toy World: “Our members are gearing up for a great Christmas season, which the Christmas catalogue will support. Inside, readers will find a huge selection of predicted Christmas best-sellers, top brands and member exclusives they won’t find anywhere else. Our suppliers continue to support our indies with fabulous offers and exclusive lines ahead of the festive season, which, in turn, means our members can continue offering all the main toy and game brands children will be putting on their wish lists this Christmas.”

Brian also told Toy World that the group will soon be on the road again for its regional meetings in Ireland, Harrogate and Swindon, starting at the end of September/early October. He added: “We are looking forward to catching up with all our members and hearing their thoughts on current trade as we prepare for Q4 and what looks set to be another strong Christmas.”
