Big Christmas Press Show secures ITV coverage for toy companies

ITV undertook filming with a number of toy companies at The Big Christmas Press Show, showcasing the latest products, trends and offerings across the retail sector in the lead up to the Golden Quarter.

Organiser CIJ Group has announced the airing of broadcast coverage achieved at the show, with the strongest representation from the toy industry as a total of six toy companies were interviewed for comment.

The team at CIJ Group were delighted to welcome ITV News regions to The Big Christmas Press Show, which set about interviewing a host of brands and retailers at the show. The culmination of behind-the-scenes efforts, aligned with the three-month milestone to Christmas, brought forth a dedicated Christmas retail segment which aired on ITV News across 10 regions on Monday, 25th September. This segment featured exclusive content tailored to each region, highlighting prominent brands and retailers from the show.

During the tailored segments, the exhibitors shared valuable insights on their preparations for the Golden Quarter and their predictions for Christmas 2024. The toy companies featured include:

Each dynamic two-minute clip provided viewers with an enticing glimpse of the exhibitors’ offerings, showcasing their innovation and creativity. Further notable participants included CIJ Group founder Courtney Rogers, BBC Apprentice finalist Kathryn Burn, and commercial director, Fran Pittaway representing Not On The High Street.

Courtney expressed her delight at the successful partnership with ITV News and remarked: “It was an absolute pleasure to host ITV News regions and we were blown away by how much time they dedicated to speaking with our clients. We are pleased with how ITV shared the important part the toy industry plays in the festive season.”
