Jada Comic Con debut raises brand awareness

Published on: 1st November 2023

Simba Smoby UK is celebrating after a successful debut for its Jada brand at MCM London Comic Con.

JadaJada, a leading brand for licensed die-cast collectibles, action figures and RC vehicles, made its mark at the three-day exhibition for movie and memorabilia fans at Excel London. With 35sqm packed with best-selling products and new launches, the Jada stand was a key attraction for the show’s 80,000+ visitors who flocked to shop the range of top-quality die cast vehicles and figures from popular properties such as Fast & Furious, Street Fighter, Marvel and Transformers.

Fans and influencers also couldn’t resist the brand’s on-stand life-size Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, which proved to be a key talking point and photo opportunity for children and adults alike throughout the weekend: so much so, the 1:24 die-cast scale model for sale on the Jada stand completely sold out. The Jada team maximised the brand awareness opportunity with free samples and brand literature for all visitors, plus a fan newsletter database drive for ongoing brand communications.

Ben Hogg, head of Marketing at Simba Smoby UK, said: “MCM Comic Con has been the culmination of a fantastic year for the Jada brand, which continues to grow and gain a foothold in the UK market. The show aligns perfectly with the Jada fanbase, so we relished the opportunity to exhibit, sell and educate pop culture fans about the brand’s fantastic offering. We couldn’t be more pleased with Jada’s presence at the show, and our ongoing programme of consumer marketing and PR activity will ensure we build on the success of Comic Con in the weeks to come and beyond.”
