Big Potato becomes certified B Corp

Published on: 24th January 2024

Big Potato Games is now a certified B Corporation, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to operating in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

B Corp

The B Corp certification process evaluates a company’s impact on its employees, customers, suppliers, community and the environment. By voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency and accountability, Big Potato Games demonstrates its dedication to addressing societal and environmental challenges through its business operations.

“We are delighted to announce that Big Potato Games is now B Corp Certified. We have always strived to be a positive, inclusive brand that brings people together through great board games,” said Adam Wright, managing director at Big Potato Games. “B Corp was a logical next step for us and we’re excited to be joining a global movement of companies committed to using business as a force for good. We look forward to continuing to create positive change.”

After an extensive evaluation of its operations that commenced in July 2022, the London based party game company achieved an impressive score of 99.5 points. It is one of only 1,500 B Corp Certified companies in the UK.

Dean Tempest, co-founder at Big Potato Games, commented: “Navigating sustainability can be overwhelming, and the ever-increasing prevalence of greenwashing only adds to the complexity. By becoming B Corp Certified we are formalising and improving our existing practices into official policies and processes, helping us to be even more transparent with our customers, consumers and staff.”
