Two new Oink Games join cult hits at Hachette

Published on: 15th February 2024

Oink Games is introducing two new additions to its collection in the UK, with DroPolter and Rafter Five, which will both be available from Hachette Boardgames.

On the 19th February, Oink Games will be introducing two new lines to UK shelves with DroPolter and Rafter Five.

DroPolter offers a unique tactile challenge. It is described as a palm muscle dexterity game, whereby players must drop a series of lucky charms from their hands through tactile sensation alone. This is the first time the game has been available in the UK, and was named one of the best games of 2023 on the YouTube channel Rahdo, which has over 100,000 subscribers.

Rafter Five is a game in which players use the signature Oink Games box as a base for their raft, and must build and expand it using cardboard planks of wood. Similar to games such as Jenga, players must keep expanding the raft until it collapses.

Both games are suitable for two to five players, and for ages six and up. They each take approximately 15 minutes to play.

The games join an ever-growing line of cult hits in the Oink Games range, which includes the multi award-winning Scout and fan favourite Deep Sea Adventure.

Hachette Boardgames UK will be handling the distribution of these new Oink Games titles. Rob Trounce, marketing manager for Hachette Boardgames UK, said: “Oink Games titles are among some of the biggest hits in our portfolio thanks to their easy portability, simple ruleset and tactical depth. They’re incredibly accessible and can be played anywhere. These two new titles are no exception, and their small box size makes them some of the smallest dexterity games in the world.”

Both games will be available from Monday 19th February.
