Gameplan Europe and Ravensburger are the latest companies to advertise job vacancies in Toy World’s recruitment section.

Gameplan Europe is representing a Hong Kong based toy manufacturer which has a European office in Paris and a German sales office in Nürnberg. The company is looking for a Head of Sales to help expand business in Germany. Key responsibilities include developing a long term strategy to achieve agreed objectives for distribution and sales, writing an annual business plan and manage sales forecasting and inventory levels to achieve planned levels of demand fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of successful management experience as senior sales executive in the German toy or related industry and have proficiency in researching and analysing market opportunities.

Ravensburger is recruiting a Product Marketing Manager for its Games division. At Ravensburger, the team looks for people who have a genuine love and passion for games and an ability to work closely with a collaborative and supportive team. Main duties include developing the strategy for the Games category in the UK and Republic of Ireland, working with the international product development teams in USA and Germany on developing and localising new products for the UK market, and identifying new opportunities through liaising with the games inventor community, social media and feedback from sales and marketing teams.

The successful candidate should have 3+ years’ successful experience of product management / development in toys, games or similar consumer goods markets and a proven ability to create and execute successful marketing campaigns.

  • Sanrio is recruiting a Licensing Manager for Mr Men who will seek out opportunities for new business and pitch to secure new deals including new business partners.
  • Aardman is looking for a new Senior Creative Design and Product Development Manager to work within its Licensing and Brand team and report to the Marketing Director.
  • Aardman is also looking for a Licensing Approvals Executive to facilitate and manage licensing approvals and creative submissions.
