Next Board Game Club to be World Earth Day event

Published on: 12th April 2024

Board Game Club’s first grown-up games night of 2024 will be held on Tuesday 7th May at Century Club, London.

Inspired by World Earth Day, the games menu will be curated by Products of Change. With sustainability at its heart, the menu will include titles from companies who are taking a greener, more sustainable path in their games’ production and development.

“Part of our mission to create a better industry for tomorrow, today, is to help our members build connections and highlight that conversations around sustainability don’t always have to be serious,” said Rob Hutchins, editor and community manager at Products of Change. “To be involved in the selection of games for this month’s Board Game Club menu is a great way for us to be able to showcase what sustainability in games really looks like, and offers a glimpse into what’s possible when companies begin to operate in a more sustainable way.”

“We’re so looking forward to returning to Century Club for our first Board Game Club night of the year”, said Mary Bobroff, joint head of Consumer Campaigns at Playtime PR. “It’s great to be working with Products of Change to shine a light on games made by companies who are working in a sustainable way, or are on a journey towards working in this way. The menu is already looking pretty eclectic, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.”
