More May Mayhem – are you doing your bit for the Toy Trust?

Published on: 19th May 2023

The Toy Trust’s fundraising initiative, May Mayhem, is in full swing and it’s not too late to get involved, like Charlie from Precise TV.

May Mayhem is taking place throughout the whole month of May. Organisers of the Toy Trust, The British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) is encouraging as many members from the toy industry as possible to get involved to raise money in any way they can for this year’s main Toy Trust beneficiary, Whizz-Kidz.

Participants can do anything they like from physical sporting challenges to bake sales, raffles or quizzes – and it’s still not too late to get involved. Those who aren’t able to participate in fundraising themselves can make a donation here, or can of course sponsor others taking part.

There’s more information on the website here, or you can contact Matt@btha.co.uk to see how you can participate along with the rest of the industry for this great cause.

Charlie Tiptaft, from Precise TV, is just one of the many industry members taking part in the event. Charlie is cycling 500 miles in May, aiming to cover as many miles as he can outside but completing some on his brand-new indoor bike, as he copes with the demands of young kids and a new puppy.

Charlie said that Precise TV has had the pleasure of supporting the Toy Trust in the past at Toy Fair. “It is a charity that is very close to Precise TV’s heart,” he commented. “We are keen to support where and when we can. With some of us being parents ourselves, we have an extra understanding of the importance of initiatives that help young children to flourish and enjoy life, as they should.”

Whizz-Kids is a charity that holds special memories for Charlie as it was the first charity he raised money for when he was at Junior school. “Since then I have continued to support the charity and will do so whenever I can,” he added.
