Selfridges reveals its Top 10 Toys for Christmas

Published on: 18th October 2023

From tech toys and music to plush and eco-conscious offerings, Selfridges pick of top Christmas toys for 2023 covers a range of play patterns and prices.

As the Christmas countdown begins, Selfridges has released its prediction of the best-selling toys that are sure to delight and ignite imaginations of all children this Christmas.

The list of Christmas toys comprises gifts to keep children inspired over the Christmas period and beyond once the festive holidays have finished, whether it’s joining the Avengers in the final battle for earth’s future, pulling some shapes during family game night or laying down beats on unique musical tracks.

Selfridges’ top picks for 2023 are:

  • Tamagotchi – Bandai
  • Twister Air – Hasbro
  • Marvel Final Battle Play Set – Lego (Selfridges exclusive)
  • Activity Table – Le Toy Van
  • Furby – Hasbro
  • DJ Mixer Music Floor Mat – FAO Schwarz (Selfridges exclusive)
  • Retro Games Units – Arcade 1Up (Selfridges exclusive)
  • Hippocampus Squishmallow – Jazwares (Selfridges exclusive)
  • Nature Wooden Car Track – Selfridges
  • Cotton Pavilion Tent – Selfridges

Three of this year’s picks have been given Selfridges Project Earth seal of approval. Project Earth, the retailer’s bold sustainability strategy, sets out Selfridges’ vision to reinvent retail and change the way people shop and do business. The initiative is built on three themes: transitioning to more sustainable materials, exploring new business models, and challenging mindsets. The Le Toy Van Activity Table, and Nature Wooden Car Track and Cotton Pavilion Tent from Selfridges, all meet with Project Earth standards and have been highlighted to guide shoppers towards eco-friendly options alongside top toys and games from some of the industry’s leading brands.

The list isn’t too dissimilar from Selfridges’ 2022 top toys list, which also included Jazwares, Lego and FAO Schwarz.
