Hasbro unveils new Galaxy Edition Furby

Published on: 23rd April 2024

The new interactive Galaxy Edition Furby features five voice-activated modes, over 600 phrases, jokes and songs, and comes with an array of accessories.

Hasbro has unveiled a brand new Furby Aurora Furbealis, enabling kids to create their own Northern Lights experience.

The new Galaxy Edition Furby is an interactive toy that lights up with glow-in-the-dark features and an array of shining colours, making it an ideal gift for outdoor spring and summer evenings.

The Furby Aurora Furbealis features five voice-activated modes, over 600 phrases, jokes and songs, and much more to discover. Users can tap the voice-activated heart gem and say “hey Furby” and then one of the five commands: Dance Party, Copy Cat, Tell My Fortune, Let’s Chill and Lightshow. Furby also responds to hugs, pats on the head, shaking and feeding with the pretend pizza charm.

This toy features glow-in-the-dark eyes and ears. The ears create different light effects when in the lightshow mode, which can be seen in the day but shines brighter in the dark. The mix of green, purple and blue fur mimics the Northern Lights, adding to the mystical design. Accessories include glow-in-the-dark clip-on beads that kids can put on Furby or even as their own accessory, plus a comb to brush Furby’s hair.

The new Galaxy Edition Furby is now available for pre-order and is designed for children aged 6+.

All Furbys and Furblets, mini Furbys that were released last year, can be connected. This includes the newest limited edition Furblets Fierce & Fabulous 2-Pack introducing May-May and Greenie Meanie.
