The prestigious German car is the latest to be immortalised in Playmobil form, joining other icons such as the Porsche Mission E, VW Campervan and 007’s Aston Martin DB5. 

Playmobil’s successful collaboration with the luxury car brand Porsche continues into 2022 with the launch of the new Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 model.

This classic 1972 sports car, beloved for its streamlined looks, unique lines and racing performance, has been presented in toy form by Playmobil in its stunning prototype yellow, making it a true collector’s item for all car lovers.

The fastest German-manufactured car of its time, Playmobil’s impressive new model perfectly captures the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.’s legendary body shape and aerodynamic details, such as the real spoiler affectionately known as the ducktail by car aficionados. ‘Chrome’ detailing around the wingmirrors and head lamps gives the car a refined look while the accurate curved Carrera lettering up the side lends this motoring classic a particular elegance. The engine hood at the rear also opens to reveal the 6-cylinder boxer engine.

For additional play value, the roof of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 can be removed to insert the two included figures, dressed in retro 70s outfits. A picnic basket, blanket and road map are also included plus other accessories needed for an unforgettable trip, while the included presentation sign lists the most important data associated with the sports car.
