The company is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join the team.

The Role:

Pivotal to the continued success of the company, this role is ideal for a marketeer who is passionate about toys in a fashion lead FMCG style of business. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the business, helping to shape and grow the team and execute marketing strategies across the different brands offering.

This is varied role as part of a small but fast-paced team, where you will work closely with the MD, other directors and agencies to deliver the day-to-day marketing operations for the business. You will partner with both internal cross-functional teams and with our partner agencies to strategise, develop and execute marketing campaigns that meet the company’s objectives.

Main Duties:

  • Working closely with the CEO and the French HQ, plan the brand, the product range and propose pricing.
  • Create, execute and monitor annual marketing plans and budget, ensuring the objectives are aligned with the company strategy agreed with the CEO.
  • Provide strategic input in all campaigns, from planning to execution, to ensure the brand objectives are met.
  • Plan the product range strategy and pricing.
  • Manage all marketing and PR campaigns to promote brand awareness and conversion across all media platforms.
  • Oversee third party media relationships; defining and executing media campaigns and marketing collaborations.
  • Manage and develop a small but talented marketing team and act as a role model for company values and behaviours.
  • Measure key performance metrics across all campaigns and compile reports with relevant stakeholders across all media channels to be presented both internally and to key customers.
  • Collaborate on developing retail initiatives, working closely with sales teams and retail partners to ensure all activity aligns with the brand objectives.
  • Provide all necessary selling tools required by the company, including digital presentations, media assets, marketing plans, toy shows, brand presentations etc.

Is This You?

  • Minimum 5 years experience at marketing manager level with significant experience in the branded consumer goods sector, ideally toy or nursery.
  • A proactive, collaborative and responsive person, with a mindset that combines strong creative acumen with analytical based judgment, to build and leverage best marketing practices.
  • Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of advertising fundamentals and consumer goods media space.
  • A solid digital marketing experience is critical (all social media platforms, PPC, SEO etc).
  • Able to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail,with strong sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships and show true leadership with the teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • French language could be an advantage, but not essential.
