Andy will be responsible for driving new business and the development of multiple national retail accounts for Funrise in the UK & Ireland.

Andy brings a wealth of experience to Funrise International, having spent 13 years at Funko managing multiple accounts and more recently at MGA where he was responsible for the management of some of the company’s largest national accounts.

Annie Sullivan, general manager, UK, Northern Europe & MEA said: “We are really excited to welcome Andy to the Funrise team. His experience within the toy industry and expertise in driving growth across all types of customers will be instrumental in achieving our growth strategy for the UK and Ireland.”

Commenting on his new role, Andy added: “I’m delighted to be joining Funrise International at such an exciting time for the company, and I’m looking forward to bringing my skills and experience to contribute to the next stage of growth and development. I’m impressed by the quality of products in the portfolio and look forward to hitting the ground running as we begin our 2023 presentations in LA over the oncoming weeks.”

This year, Funrise has been working on its stated aim to build on and expand the company’s international business. January saw the appointment of two new general managers, with Annie Sullivan taking responsibility for the UK, Northern Europe & MEA, while Sebastien Cardi stepped into a newly created role to oversee Southern Europe. The company has also expanded its international team this year.
