Toy World supports The Toy Trust Christmas card initiative

Published on: 19th October 2022

Toy World will publish a double page spread of Christmas messages from toy companies in its upcoming December issue.

Last year’s Christmas messages.

With the festive season approaching, the BTHA is giving the industry the opportunity of an alternative to sending out Christmas cards to clients, whilst ensuring all proceeds go directly to disadvantaged and disabled children through the work of the industry charity, The Toy Trust. This annual initiative has been well supported in the past and raises valuable funds for deserving children’s organisations.

The annual Christmas Card initiative is supported by the industry’s trade publications, including Toy World, which donate the pages used for the festive message to the BTHA free of charge. BTHA members are given the opportunity to be included in the Christmas ‘thank you’ double page spread in December. This year there is a minimum donation of £350 required to take part, but £500 is a suggested contribution. Of course, greater donations are welcomed if desired.

The ads in the trade media mean that companies can cut back on sending individual greetings cards – a move which not only raises approximately £10,000 for the Toy Trust but is also environmentally friendly.

In order to take part, companies need to supply a full colour logo; this will need to be sent to Tracey@btha.co.uk by 4th November in order to meet December issue deadlines. Cheques should be made payable to the Toy Trust.

The Toy World December issue will be published at the start of December, both digitally and in print.
