Aquabeads enjoys star-studded product launch event

Published on: 20th September 2023

Amy Childs, Lacy Turner and Laura Tobin were among the celebrities that attended the launch of Epoch’s new Aquabeads Disney Princess Nail Studio Set.

Epoch Making Toys celebrated the launch of the new Aquabeads Disney Princess Nail Studio Set with a celebrity event hosted at Townhouse Nail Salon in London’s Covent Garden on Sunday 17th September.

Stars in attendance included TV personality Amy Childs, actors Lacey Turner and Judi Shekoni, ITV meteorologist Laura Tobin, hairdresser Nicky Clarke and several social media influencers.

To celebrate the launch of the new Aquabeads Nail Studio sub-line, which enables children to design and create their own magical, mess-free manicures using just water, guests were invited to enjoy brunch provided by Grape & Fig, with adults and children offered a shape and polish.

The younger guests were then given the opportunity to play with the brand new Aquabeads Nail Studio products at play stations set up around the venue, creating embellishments on their nails to wear home.

Part of Epoch’s new Aquabeads Nail Studio range, the Aquabeads Disney Princess Nail Studio Set comes complete with 56 reusable nails in a shiny finish and 120 Disney Princess-themed decorations in eight colours including bows, stars, flowers, and hearts. There are also 40 different designs featuring Cinderella, Jasmine, Aurora, Rapunzel, Belle, and Ariel. Easy to create, kids just apply a ‘coat’ of water to the nail, place the nail, wait three minutes and they’re ready to wear. Also available are two themed refill sets: Dreamy and Fancy.

Matt Shaw, Epoch marketing manager, commented: “We were thrilled to host an array of celebrities at the launch of our Aquabeads Nail Studio range on Sunday morning. The glamorous Townhouse provided the perfect backdrop, and it was wonderful to see the guests immerse themselves in the magic of Aquabeads Nail Studio. The latest addition to Aquabeads is a new play pattern for the brand and it was great to see the children so clearly enjoying creating their own Disney Princess manicures using just water – no messy glue in sight. Overall, the event was an incredible success, securing coverage across national and online outlets as well as driving a raft of noise on social media. It was the perfect way for us to kick off the festive sales period.”
