Barbie brand expands with Barbie Pop Reveal

Published on: 1st September 2023

As kids unbox Barbie Pop Reveal, they discover a scented Barbie doll with colour changing hair and makeup, plus a host of other surprises.

Mattel is launching what it describes as “the fruitiest unboxing experience ever” with the new Barbie Pop Reveal range, which is an exciting new evolution of the popular Reveal segment.

With eight sensory surprises in one package, the Barbie Pop Reveal dolls offer unboxing fun with scented squishy pet friends, slime, fashions, surprises and transforming fun. Kids unwrap the innovative drink cup-inspired packaging to find one of four flavours in the Fruit Series; strawberry lemonade, fruit punch, watermelon crush or grape fizz.

The new range comes with the fun ‘reveal’ element kids love, offering exciting transformative play. A scented Barbie doll with colour changing hair and makeup comes with a selection of surprise bags. Whe the top is popped, colourful slime drips down over the ‘ice’ cubes that hold the accessories inside. Kids can take the squishy slime out for fun sensory play. Next, popping the ice cubes will reveal roller skates and a squishy mini-drink piece. The ice cubes and cup are reusable for kids to repeat the Pop Reveal fun again and again.

Barbie Pop Revealwill be supported with a robust 360 marketing plan which includes retail activations, TV & YouTube support, advertorials and competitions in Barbie Magazine, and more.

The dolls have an RRP of £26.99 each, and there are four to collect.

Mattel can be contacted on 01628 500 000 for sales enquiries.
