Character commences creative launch campaign for Simbrix

An all-new website will be bolstered by influencer marketing, a Simbrix YouTube channel, linear TV advertising and covermount sampling. 

Character Options has kicked off its creative marketing drive for Simbrix with an all-encompassing launch campaign. The brand website and social platforms are now live, with wide-reaching influencer activity and a heavyweight pre-roll drive imminent.

Simbrix is a new IP from Character. The unique, creative building system allows kids to connect, create and customise their own pixel art. With product now at retail, Character is rolling out a launch plan that will deliver exponential growth for the brand.

The all-new Simbrix website is just one strand of activity, offering an online portal where fans can get their ‘brix fix’. It holds details on items in the range and stockist information, as well as video content to inspire creativity among the crafting and construction community.

Other marketing will soon ramp up with influencers creating content for their channels and the Simbrix YouTube channel primed to showcase Simbrix reels. All this will add to the weight of the robust media schedules. A branded TV spot will lead the linear TV and YouTube pre-roll campaign, supporting the recruitment drive from launch until Christmas. There will also be in-store support for retailers, as well as magazine covermount sampling to get Simbrix into kids’ hands. Small creative packs will be distributed via Redan Publishing’s new creative kids’ magazine, Skoodle.
