Toynamics, Halilit and Gameplan are the latest companies to advertise job vacancies in Toy World’s recruitment section.

Toynamics is looking for UK Sales agents to cover territories in the North and Scotland

Halilit is looking for a Key Account Executive.

As suppliers of high-quality baby and pre-school toys, Halilit has recently taken on an award-winning new sensory toy brand. With an exciting new range also set to launch in January encompassing creative and science based lines, the company is looking to add to its dynamic team.

Halilit’s customers include toy, gift and nursery retailers in addition to mail-order, on-line and well-known high-street names. The successful candidate will be predominantly responsible for growing business within existing independent retailers, taking ownership of key buying groups such as Toymaster and the AIS Group, and for sourcing and converting new business opportunities with a particular focus on garden centre chains, prestigious department stores and attractions. They will also be the primary point of contact for new business enquiries and exhibition leads, and need to have a willingness to travel for customer meetings and to participate in trade shows, often requiring overnight stays.

Meanwhile, recruitment specialist Gameplan is seeking a Key Account Manager – Germany.

The client is a company established 60 years ago which is a leading supplier of costumes and dress-up outfits for children and adults for carnivals, fancy dress parties, children’s play and parties. The products sell in toy stores, party and carnival stores, and in mass market outlets as well as online.

Some of the attributes being sought for this position include at least three years successful experience as a key account manager in the German toy industry; an in depth knowledge of the toy market; someone who keeps close to market events, competitive successes and failures and someone who can work effectively without daily contact and supervision.

Previous experience in the toy or arts & crafts industry would be an advantage, but ultimately, the company is looking for someone who is tenacious with plenty of confidence to make the first approach. Able to demonstrate success in a previous sales position and be looking for a role where they can grow and develop, a strong working knowledge of LinkedIn would also be beneficial.
