Canal Toys, Wow! Stuff and Huffy are the latest companies advertising to fill vacancies through Toy World’s popular recruitment section. 

Canal Toys is seeking a senior national account manager for the UK office, to build and develop Canal Toys’ sales across a portfolio of key UK retailers. The role will involve building and managing retailer relationships, formulating sales/business plans, forecasting, inventory management, professional presentation of products and internal reporting accountability.

Flexible working arrangements are on offer, with the successful applicant required to visit the company’s York headquarters 2-3 times a month depending on the business requirements. Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a toy industry retail account management role, dealing with large customers with a hands-on approach. Experience in Girls, Arts & Craft or Youth Electronics sector would be advantageous.

Wow! Stuff is looking for a creative and enthusiastic packaging designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of packaging material across the Wow! Stuff portfolio working in categories such as toys, games, novelty gifting and role-play.

The packaging designer will report directly to the head of Product Design and will be responsible for owning the packaging design and development from concept through to production. They will be working closely with the product designers (design managers), key stakeholder, Far East team and licensors to ensure best in class packaging.

Huffy is recruiting a UK & Ireland sales manager. The successful candidate will be the sales lead in the UK with a core focus on the Huffy and Licensed brands. They will lead the development and execution of the sales strategy with responsibility for defining key customers, range plans, promotional execution and new business development.

The new sales manager can look forward to working in a fast paced and stimulating international environment as they help build a leading bicycle business in the EMEA.
