Confident Games makes sustainable moves

Published on: 22nd January 2024

Confident Games details the strides the brand has made in order to make its products eco-friendly and sustainable.

Sustainability and the environment are extremely important to Confident Games, and with this in mind, the company has taken numerous eco-friendly steps in regards to its games.

These measures include:

  • All games are FSC-certified.
  • All games are made at the minimal size, with no wasted box space. Confident Games believes this is a real issue in the board games industry, with over-sized boxes being a popular choice, despite being a waste of resources.
  • The company’s best-seller, Confident?, is certified carbon neutral, making it the first certified carbon neutral board game in the world.
  • A tree is planted for every game sold, with over 260,000 trees planted to date with the charity Trees for the Future.

The carbon neutral board game, Confident?, is described by the team as ‘more than the average quiz game’. A party game for all, it is full of intriguing questions and risky ranges. If players think they know the answer, giving a smaller range will create the chance of bigger points. After supplying some hilarious guesses, players flip the answer boards for the big reveal – the less players know, the funnier it seems to be.

The game is addictively simple; players can just open the box and play straight away. It’s couch and travel-friendly, with no small pieces. Suitable for players aged 11 and up, the number of players can range from two to thirty.

Confident Games is available in the UK via Asmodee.
