Exclusive: face value with Colart’s Snazaroo brand

Published on: 20th January 2022

Dan Sugrue, mass channel director at Colart, outlines how Snazaroo ignites a love of creative play and what the year ahead has in store.

Snazaroo is a Colart-owned face and body paint brand which has been making its products in the UK for over 30 years. Dan tells us that Colart is seeing a huge resurgence in popularity for all things art, connectivity and creativity across the company’s artistic brands from Winsor & Newton, through to face painting, as a result of parents and children using Snazaroo Face Paint to inspire imaginative play.

In 2021, production facilities were moved to larger premises in Somerset, giving the company even greater production capacity. “We are expecting great things from 2022 and from our new factory,” Dan says. “We’re also seeing increased consumer optimism and a desire to come together and celebrate not only big occasions, but small ones too.”

He goes on to explain why creative play is so important and what sets Snazaroo apart from other face paint brands in the marketplace. With more news of the latest Snazaroo products and the company’s plans for the year ahead, see the full article, which appeared in the January edition of Toy World, here.

Please note that, since the article was published, Colart has taken the decision to withdraw from London Toy Fair. However, to see the company’s full range of products, visit
