Magnetic construction toy giant Magformers showcased its first-ever luminous pieces at London Toy Fair with the introduction of a glow-in-the-dark set.

The company’s UK-based team unveils four amazing new sets this year, all featuring never-seen-before magnetic pieces and accessories – from luminous, holographic and see-through geometric shapes, to mini-wheel train/bus wheels, role-play characters and a transforming vehicle seat. The product development builds on Magformers’ reputation as a leading magnetic construction toy while introducing new levels of creativity, fun and role-play into its line-up.

Magformers Glowing Craft Set comprises 20 pieces and features 13 magnetic squares and triangles, a special seat square, mini play character and accessories which glow in the dark after exposure to direct light. Suggested fun models to make include a rocket, flowerpot, airplane, house and tropical fish. In addition, the Ideas Booklet in the set contains four 2D layout sheets which encourage children to follow astrological patterns to create glowing night-sky pictures.

Magformers Twinkling Garden Set is a beautiful 27-piece toy which enables children to make an array of model flowers, plants, insects and animals using magnetic shapes and accessories. With brand new glittery holographic squares included, an extra dimension can be added to anything made. Magformers City Go Set introduces new six mini-wheels pieces so children can make push-along cars, trains, trams and other vehicles. It’s the perfect set for younger builders and comes with 25 pieces (six different magnetic shapes) plus a new driver chair which transforms for other purposes.

Magformers Dream Land Set contains 31 pieces (nine different magnetic shapes) and is a superbly creative and versatile construction toy with exploration as its theme, with which children can make space vehicles, robots, flying machines, submarines, aliens, fish, animals and fully unlock and celebrate their inner explorer.
