Published on: 9th April 2021

Kids International Marketing has confirmed that sales manager Wendy Wood has decided to retire.

Nigel Deacon

Following Wendy’s retirement, KIM’s Nigel Deacon, who returned to the industry when he joined Kids International Marketing last year, will assume the role of sales manager.

“We would like to thank Wendy for all her efforts on our behalf in recent years,” commented Kim Carter. “We will all miss working with her and know she will be missed by the many friends she has made over the 35 years she has worked in our industry. While we know it was a difficult decision for her to take, we are pleased that Wendy is now looking forward to the time it will afford her in her new home back in the West Country and with her family.”

Nigel joined the team last year to manage National Accounts and support the company’s continued growth. He joined from Acctim Ltd where he was head of sales, and brought with him extensive experience of the UK’s toy & gift sector, having covered the retail and wholesale markets for over 30 years.

Speaking of Nigel’s appointment, Kim Carter said: “We are looking forward to seeing his considerable experience strengthen our offering as Kids International continues to develop.”

Nigel can be reached by phone on 07307 404600 or email at  nd101sales@gmail.com.

The Kids International Marketing UK team manages UK & Ireland sales for a raft of quality brands, and the company says that further announcements of new, exclusive distribution partners that the team will be working with are expected shortly.

McCabe Marketing & Sales will continue to service retailers in Ireland for KIM, (liam.mmsales@gmail.com) and international sales are handled by Kim or Corrinne Carter, who can be contacted by email at: kidsinternationalmarketing@gmail.com or by telephoning 00 44 (0)7770 661461.
