MGA unveils latest Miniverse developments

Published on: 4th August 2023

MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini Cafe Edition has been hugely successful since launching earlier this year, with the range named within the Top 50 Best Selling Items during week 28 in 2023.

Since its launch earlier this year, MGA’s Miniverse, from MGA Entertainment, has seen incredible growth in the UK, driven by partnerships with some of the biggest crafting and Gen Z influencers on TikTok, achieving more than 7.6m views and gaining more than 1m likes on social media.

This autumn, the brand will expand its portfolio with the launch of a new series of the Make It Mini Food collection, a brand-new miniature Lifestyle collection, a miniature food multipack, kitchen set, and an All You Can Eat set which includes more than 100+ collectibles.

Make It Mini Lifestyle Edition delivers a new level of surprise DIY mini crafting. From mini aquariums with mini fish and a mini cactus with mini bags of soil, through to mini replica versions of plant pots, aquarium gravel, and faux scented candle wax, the MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini Lifestyle Edition boasts more than 18 mini home decor collectibles to collect and create. For the mini fish and candles, consumers follow the collector’s guide to create their lifestyle masterpiece which hardens in daylight or UV light for permanent aesthetically pleasing display; for the cactus, consumers use a soil-like sand that can be re-potted again and again. The outer ball transforms into a free-standing display shelf.

MGA’s Miniverse will be expanding the already popular Make It Mini Food Café Edition and Make It Mini Food Diner editions with the launch of Series 2.

Series 2 will see an abundance of Gen Z favourite recipes introduced into the range including, ramen, alphabetti spaghetti, tiny churros, mini pizzas, mini mac & cheese and so much more. All recipes include mini utensils and displays including mini chopsticks, cake stands, pizza cutters, and chips and dips plates. There are more than 100+ unique Make It Mini Food Series 2 ingredients and kitchen accessories within 18 Make It Mini Diner Edition and 24 Make It Mini Café Edition to collect.

The popularity in mini-collecting and tiny kitchen creations shows no signs in slowing and has led to the rise in other mini phenomena such as #minikitchen, which has amassed over 2.3b views on TikTok alone.

MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini Kitchen hit the shelves in July, allowing consumers to create and then store all their mini creations. The set includes an oven, refrigerator, countertop, shelves and comes with two Bonus Recipes, mystery ingredients and two exclusive mini oven mitts which can only be found with the play set. The oven contains a UV oven light with timer, meaning creators can set their creations without the help of sunlight.

Fans will also be able to get their hands on five exclusive new recipes in the new Make It Mini Food Multipack, which offers consumers added value and savings. Each set includes realistic mini “ingredients” and kitchen accessories for making replicas of favourite snacks and desserts in miniature form.

MGA’s Miniverse will also be introducing a Make It All You Can Eat set into the portfolio this October. With over 100+ collectible pieces including nine exclusives, there are hours of crafting to be had with this set. Fans can even use the set as a display case for all their miniature culinary creations.

MGA’s Miniverse appeals to people of all ages, especially ‘kidults’ wanting to create viral social content for their TikTok profile, and fans of the trend who are wanting to use the quirky miniatures as a form of self-expression and amusement. MGA’s Miniverse offers a fun and engaging method for fans to craft and create in their own personal unique way as well as offering an aesthetically pleasing way to display their personalised creations.
