New roles added to Toy World’s recruitment section

Zuru, Keycraft, Thames & Kosmos and University Games are the latest companies to advertise vacancies in Toy World’s recruitment section, plus there’s a Licensing opportunity at Aardman.

Zuru is seeking a key account manager based in Leeds.

Zuru is a disruptive and award-winning company that designs, manufactures and markets innovative toys and consumer products.

As key account manager, the successful candidate will ensure Zuru is capturing or over-indexing its Share of Shelf vs. competitors, working closely with commercial, marketing and supply teams to achieve distribution goals and maximise performance at shelf. This person will also take ownership of key account relationships with responsibility of building long term alignment and bottom up plans to enable delivery of mutually aligned strategic and financial goals.

Keycraft is looking for a Sales manager to work remotely, based in the UK.

Keycraft supports leading retailers with impulse pocket money toys and creative point of sale solutions. The company is also the home of Living Nature plush. Keycraft serves retailers and tourist attractions of all kinds and sizes globally, with its core focus being on the EUK, USA & AU Markets.

The new Sales manager will develop and enforce clear sales pipeline management strategies, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient sales processes globally; implement and optimise CRM systems to streamline sales operations, track customer interactions and maximise lead conversion rates; and oversee the sales pipeline, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, and taking proactive measures to optimise workflow.

Thames & Kosmos is hiring a senior key account manager to join the four-strong UK sales team and two support staff in the Kentish village of Cranbrook.

Kosmos is a growing, global business and the UK office is based in the Kentish village of Cranbrook. The successful candidate will independently manage key accounts in the sales of Kosmos toys, ensuring the achievement of annual growth and revenue goals. They will also analyse sales KPIs and customer potentials, derive measures and conduct annual negotiations with the assigned clients (the grocers, The Entertainer, B&M etc.)

University Games is seeking a territory manager to cover the London South Area which includes South London, Surrey West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, Suffolk and Essex.

University Games UK is one of the largest game, puzzle and gift companies in the UK. It is a privately owned games manufacturer, headquartered in San Francisco. The company’s renowned product portfolio includes Subbuteo, Plasticine, Harry Potter, David Walliams, Murder Mystery Party Games, Family Games as well as pre-school and children’s ranges.

The key job functions for this role are to maintain and grow University Games’ independent base to maximise the sales opportunities within those accounts; to identify and open new accounts across the specified territory; and to ensure an excellent knowledge of roduct ranges, customers, competitors and any activity that is happening within the industry.

Over on our sister website, Licensing.biz, there’s also a role on offer at Aardman. The company is looking for a senior Creative Design and Product Development manager. Based at Aardman’s HQ in central Bristol, the team is looking for someone who’s able to work in the studio a minimum of three days a week, with a creative background accompanied with proven graphic design experience. Experience of working in the licensing industry, managing character brands, product development, presenting design strategies and an understanding of international markets and particularly key Asian territories is also required.
