L.O.L. Surprise! partners with Amazing Arabella and SuperAwesome for Safer Internet Day

Published on: 6th February 2018

Safer Internet Day encourages organisations, brands, and individuals to inspire conversation about being responsible online.

MGA Entertainment’s L.O.L. Surprise! is celebrating the day today across its digital platforms, helping to raise awareness of the importance of online safety and communicate messages of advice to its audience.

In partnership with L.O.L. Surprise!, Amazing Arabella, YouTube star and advocate of online responsibility, will share a video about best practice online, including top tips such as not sharing personal details and keeping privacy settings high. The video will be shared on Amazing Arabella’s YouTube channel, across the L.O.L. Surprise! social channels and over on PopJam in its What’s Hot section, as well as with 2.3m PopJammers.

Andrew Laughton, MGA Entertainments manager director, commented: “As such a popular brand, and one aimed at the YouTube generation, L.O.L. Surprise! has a responsibility to share and support the message of internet safety. We hope that by working with such a high-profile influencer and a channel aimed at children, this will communicate the key messages and top tips for staying safe online to kids far and wide on Safer Internet Day. For L.O.L. Surprise! This will be the first of many campaigns aimed at educating children on using the web in a fun and safe way.”
