Smiffys launches licensed toddler and baby dress-up collection

Published on: 23rd August 2018

Postman Pat, Wind in the Willows and Peter Rabbit all feature in the new range.

R H Smith and Sons, the owners of the Smiffys, Fever, and Time4Fun brands, has unveiled a new range of licensed toddler dress-up costumes featuring a selection of characters, including Postman Pat, Bing and TV classic Wind in the Willows. The range will be on sale in time for World Book day 2019.

World Book Day has become a firm fixture in the school calendar, and its popularity is growing throughout nurseries nationwide. As schools focus on the literacy aspect of the event, dress-up plays an important role in making reading fun for pre-schoolers and school age kids alike.

The new range also includes characters from popular children’s books and pre-school television programmes such as Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit, Roald Dahl and Where’s Wally.

All Smiffys children and toddler costumes exceed the safety standards required by law and comply with EN71 regulations, Nightwear (Flammability) Standards BS 5722 and the BRC code of conduct, where required.
