Tomy Kiipix to debut at The Photography Show 2018

Published on: 12th March 2018

Tomy will be showcasing its new smartphone printer, KiiPix, at The Photography Show at The NEC in Birmingham.

Visitors to the show will be able to see the Kiipx in action, as well as print instant retro-style photos straight from their smartphone.

The innovative new KiiPix printer does not require batteries, an app or Wi-Fi; users simply open up the device, place their smartphone on top, press the button and rotate the dial to print out their photo.

Film photography is experiencing a renaissance, as a new generation of consumers falls in love with analogue camera equipment in this fast paced digital age. KiiPix combines both the new and the old, as users can capture and modify photos on their smartphones before instantly printing, vintage style.

Jorge Augusto, UK brand manager, commented: “We’re very excited to be showcasing the Kiipix printer at The Photography Show and are looking forward to consumer and expert reactions. Instant photography has become extremely popular over the last few years, as new consumers experience the magic and nostalgia of watching a photo come alive in a tangible form.”
