Two appointments have been made at the company, as Jamie Tank and Mike Williams join the VTech Sales team, reporting to Rebecca Whitlock.

Following a recent restructure to the UK sales team, VTech Electronics has appointed two new National Account managers: Jamie Tank and Mike Williams. Reporting to National Account controller Rebecca Whitlock, Jamie Tank joins from Schleich and Mike Williams joins from LG Electronics.

Speaking of the appointments, Rebecca Whitlock commented: “We are delighted to welcome both Jamie and Michael to the team. Their wealth of knowledge and experience, gained with well-known brands, will ensure they will excel in their new positions and will help drive VTech forward as a market leader in electronic learning toys.”

This year, VTech is entering a ‘new era’ as Sales director Graham Canning takes a step back and oversees the transition of his leadership to Clive Richardson, who was promoted VP Sales & Marketing last year.

Gilles Sautier, VTech International president, said: “During the year of transition, Graham will mentor the sales team and Clive Richardson, newly promoted VP Sales & Marketing, to help prepare and pave the way for a new era under Clive’s leadership.”

Graham will continue to support the Sales team before leaving the business on 30th Sept 2023.

VTech will be exhibiting at the Toymaster show later this month, where the team is looking forward to showing a new introduction for this autumn/winter: Car-Board Racers. The new brand will introduce three gravity-defying sets where cars run along the edge of cardboard tracks, thanks to innovative design. Encouraging creativity for all ages, the possibilities for track configurations are endless as racers can use extra cardboard, including old recyclable household items, to expand the tracks and construct their own raceways.
