Craft Buddy expands UK operation following strong growth

Published on: 5th October 2020

The company’s sales team has also expanded with the appointment of Danielle Bell as account manager.

Following a period of strong growth, both in the UK and internationally, Craft Buddy has announced the opening of a second warehouse in Chesham, Bucks, five minutes’ drive from its headquarters. At 10,000 square feet, the company says the new premises will significantly expand storage and distribution capabilities and will enable it to service growing demand for its popular brands, Crystal Art and Forever Flowerz, in 2020 and beyond.

Craft Buddy is also expanding its sales team with the appointment of Danielle Bell as account manager. Danielle will oversee the company’s growing TV business and manage its successful partnerships with QVC and Create & Craft. Danielle has worked across a host of recruitment, finance and administrative roles, bringing with her a wealth of experience in handling customer service, finance control and client liaison.

“We are experiencing incredible demand across our product portfolio,” comments Gary Wadhwani, co-director at Craft Buddy. “Lockdown and the resulting increase in sales for Arts & Crafts kits has had a direct impact on our business and, along with the development of new licensed ranges, has led us to expand our distribution facility to respond faster and more efficiently to demand across both the UK and International markets.”
