Schleich UK announces partnership with Giraffe

Published on: 21st June 2019

The new activity ‘Wild Summer at Giraffe’ will take place from the end of June.

Schleich UK has announced a partnership with the nationwide Giraffe family restaurant brand in a mass sampling and brand awareness activity throughout the school summer holidays. The activity – called Wild Summer at Giraffe – will take place from the end of June and will see Schleich-branded activity sheets distributed throughout the restaurants, together with the chance to collect five different figurines from the Schleich Wild Life series with every kid’s meal purchased. Available figures include a polar bear, elephant, ring-tailed lemur, zebra and giraffe.

In addition to the main store activity, plans are being made to have Schleich’s giant six foot tall baby giraffe model in place at the family restaurant brands flagship South Bank restaurant, creating a major photo opportunity for the families that visit that venue.

Paul Dearlove, Schleich’s trade marketing manager, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Giraffe on this project. This restaurant group is the perfect fit for us, not just because of the name, but because of the family demographic of the business. The sampling activity has been a major undertaking with several thousand figurines to be distributed during the eight weeks of the summer holidays, and the awareness it will create for the Schleich brand and its values will be significant.”
