Gormiti toys from Flair hit stores nationwide

Published on: 3rd October 2019

The new Gormiti TV series, co-produced by GP and Planeta, debuted on CITV last month.

GP Flair is celebrating the roll out of the new Gormiti toy line in stores nationwide. The new figures, play sets and accessories went on sale on 27th September across major retailers and independent toy stores, supported by a wealth of marketing initiatives.

In-store, the line will be highly visible with FSDUs, POS and sample packs to give away. Central to the line are the mini and action figures depicting the Gormiti Lords and Heralds, and the rich assortment of tribal characters.

Driving engagement into the range will be the TV series and a downloadable app, all coupled with high volume TV advertising, as well as a strong cinema campaign. The Gormiti episodes can also be seen on the official Gormiti YouTube UK channel, which has already charted almost 2m views.

YouTube influencer activity has seen the formation of the Gormiti Squad. Their collective Gormiti previews clocked 1.2m views and are now being followed by toy review content. Finally, print press activity sees competitions, branded pages and covermount sampling.

Iulia Nica-Toader, Flair’s Boys marketing manager, commented: “We have been planning the launch of Gormiti all year and it’s great to see the range finally in store. Reaction to the TV series has been very strong and we are excited to offer to our fans a great collectible and action figure toy line. This is just phase one of the marketing activities, we have plenty to come for the rest of year and spring 2020.”
