Rainforest Café hosts Spin Master How To Train Your Dragon influencer event

Published on: 16th October 2019

The event marked the launch of the DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon Hatching Toothless.

On Sunday, 10 families attended the event at the Rainforest Café where they got to enjoy the atmosphere of Rainforest, take photos, enjoy lunch, and hone their Dragons knowledge with a quiz hosted by TV favourite Nigel Clarke. After lunch, each table got to hatch and train their very own Toothless Dragon.

Jo Thompson, Spin Master UK’s PR manager, said: “We had a great afternoon with some of the UK’s leading family bloggers and vloggers. It was just brilliant seeing all the excitement first-hand as the kids hatched their dragons. It’s been great seeing all the fun social posts from the afternoon, and we’ve had some fantastic feedback. Baby Toothless is very cute and had no trouble capturing people’s hearts – we’re looking forward to reading more reviews after our families take them home and train them.”

Senior brand manager Simone Palombi added: “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World has been a phenomenally successful franchise for us. We launched in the early part of the year with a large range of Dragons figures which continue to do well, and now Hatching Dragon is ready to breathe some further excitement into the range for fans this Christmas.”

Further PR activities will continue in the run-up to Christmas including media outreach to support the extensive TV and digital campaigns that have just begun.
