Brainstorm develops StikBot brand for 2020

Published on: 5th December 2019

Brainstorm continues its cooperation with Zing in 2020 distributing the ever-popular StikBot brand with an exciting range extension.

StikBot Megabots are the latest incarnation of the innovative stop-frame animation social sharing toy. There will be three Megabots sets showcased at London Toy Fair – Avalanche, Knockout and Turbo – with each gift box including an original StikBot figure in exclusive colourways that can only be found in these sets.

Each Megabot transporter has its own characteristics and removable weapons. The rotating hinges and bungee system make posable play or animation easy, so that kids can incorporate these new sets into their existing StikBot collection and play-pattern.

Brainstorm will continue to support the StikBot brand throughout 2020 with TV, digital and PR campaigns. Megabots will feature in its own digital campaign to coincide with February half term, alongside a burst of StikBot TV advertising.

Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm, said: “With sales well in excess of 2m units in the UK and Ireland, StikBot goes from strength to strength. It’s collectible, educational and interactive. The YouTube channel StikBot Central continues to grow its library of funny and engaging content, which is developed by Zing’s creative team of professional animators. I am sure that children will love this latest development and add it to their collection.”
