Britains teams up with Keenan

Toy company and farm machinery specialist to launch new Keenan MechFiber365 die cast replica model mixer wagon.

Britains, from Tomy, is one of Europe’s oldest specialists in agricultural toys and collectibles. Britains has worked closely with Keenan to develop the MechFiber365 die cast replica model, ensuring its accuracy appeals to consumers.

The 1:32 replica is constructed of die cast metal with plastic parts. It has the same solid, sturdy feel as the original, with a real paddle motion that rotates as kids push it along. It rides on twin axels with detailed tyres and hitches to any Britains tractor.

To celebrate the partnership, Keenan and Britains are hosting an interactive agricultural awareness afternoon for more than 150 local school students at the production facility in Borris, Co. Carlow on Thursday, 15th March at 10am. Invited attendees will be treated to a first look at the new model ahead of its release later this month.

Agri Aware will also be in attendance with their mobile farm, which promises to deliver a fun and energetic element to the day. Keenan representatives will hold a variety of educational presentations, which will appeal to Ag Science students from the local secondary school, but there will also be workshops for the up and coming farmers of the future from the local primary school.

The Keenan production facility will also be open exclusively to attendees for guided tours, which will provide an insight into how the famous Keenan machines are manufactured, using the latest cutting-edge engineering techniques.
