Hamleys and Luvabella launch Royal Baby Shower competition

Published on: 13th April 2018

Visitors to the Hamleys flagship store in Regents Street London will have the chance to win one of ten Luvabella dolls.

To take part, entrants will need to take a selfie in the specially created Baby Shower set situated on the second floor, predict if they think that William and Kate’s third child will be a Prince or Princess, along with the name and weight of the royal newborn.

Entries are required to be placed via Hamleys Official Instagram page @HamleysOfficial using the contest hashtags #Hamleys and #princessluvabella or #princeluvabeau before the official announcement of the new arrival.

Speaking about the instore competition, Grant Yuill, senior marketing manager for Hamleys, commented: “We love a royal occasion at Hamleys, and the arrival of a new prince or princess is definitely something to celebrate. The Luvabella doll is one of our top selling toys and we are thrilled to be launching the Luvabella Baby Shower competition. It’s also a brilliant way to get our customers involved in this exciting national event.”

Charlotte Yates, senior brand manager for Spin Master UK, commented: “We’re thrilled to team up with Hamleys to enjoy the anticipation of the new arrival and celebrate once the new baby finally arrives. Luvabella is the perfect baby doll for children who would like a realistic and lifelike prince or princess of their own, so these prizes will be sure to make some little ones as happy as the royal parents themselves.”
