Big Potato takes to Twitch

Published on: 19th September 2018

Big Potato Games will soon begin sharing its office game-plays online with a weekly live broadcast.

Twitch is an Amazon-owned live-streaming platform, that has classically been associated with video games. Independent streamers that specialise in games like Fortnite and Overwatch have found success in building audiences, and careers, out of their broadcasts.

The platform has seen a recent shift in focus towards more general interest content, and Twitch will soon offer more non-video game categories for streaming including music, hobbies and tabletop gaming. The Big Potato team will be leading the charge as they play their own best-selling party games, plus games from other tabletop publishers, and stream it all to a live online audience every week.

In preparation for their first stream, the Potato gang has been spreading the word across its own social media platforms and also attended RTX, a video gaming event, this past weekend.

Big Potato’s first Twitch stream will take place on Thursday the 20th of September, from 7pm. Readers can catch the broadcast here.
