Popular Science teams up with Wow! Stuff to create STEM line

Published on: 15th January 2020

The range will premiere at the Toy Fair in New York in February.

Bonnier Corp.’s Popular Science and Wow! Stuff are partnering to create a range of toys.

The STEM-centric collection will align with Popular Science’s mission to make science accessible to everyone. Products have been designed to explore subjects like gravity, colour change, heat and light refraction. Some of the first products to be released through the partnership include bubbles, slime and springs, all offering a twist that promotes STEM learning in an entertaining way.

The line is suitable for children ages five to 12 and will be launched and promoted across Popular Science’s platforms via its editorial and social-media teams.

Wow! Stuff CEO Richard North commented: “Kids want fun and engaging toys, while parents appreciate the educational value of STEM. Creating products that will appeal equally to both is an exciting and important strategy for us,”

The partnership was announced by Elise Contarsy, senior vice president of Consumer Products at Bonnier, who highlighted Wow! Stuff’s reputation for creativity and innovation within the toy industry.
