Playmobil releases coronavirus explanation video for kids

Published on: 25th March 2020

The company hopes that its new video will help kids understand the virus and its implications for everyday life.

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, toymaker Playmobil is playing its part in helping kids understand and learn about the virus.

The new five and a half minute video “ROBert explains the corona virus to children” – which can be viewed below – covers a range of the virus-related topics kids are most likely to be asking questions about, including what Covid-19 is, why people are supposed to stay indoors, how the virus spreads and who is most at risk.

Using colourful Playmobil set pieces and familiar, comforting characters, the video is sure to be welcomed by parents whose children are scared or confused by the current situation.

In a tweet, Playmobil urged people to #staysafe and #stayhome – two of the key messages when it comes to bringing the pandemic under control.
