Gibsons celebrates life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with new puzzle

Published on: 28th October 2022

In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Gibsons has launched a new 1,000-piece puzzle that celebrates joyous moments in the life of the late Queen.

Since becoming Queen at the young age of 25, due to the premature passing of her father King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II devoted over 70 years of her life to serving her people.

In this commemorative puzzle, Gibsons has captured some of the most joyous moments of the monarch’s life, from her childhood as a ‘bright-eyed, carefree young woman’ and her military service during the Second World War, to her coronation ceremony and beyond, through the many years of her reign. The British puzzle manufacturer says Queen Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered as a ‘devoted wife, mother, and grandmother as well as for her dedication and resilience, and passion for her horses, her corgis and, of course, her cherished subjects’.

Gibson’s new 1,000-piece puzzle has been created by the talented Victor McLindon, the artist who illustrated the Happy and Glorious puzzle celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee.

Kate Gibsons, managing director of Gibsons, states: “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was spotted doing Gibsons jigsaw puzzles so it’s been an honour to create a range of puzzles celebrating her life. We’d like to think that this latest commemorative puzzle would have been one she would have enjoyed putting together and will be appreciated by her devoted subjects as a way to remember her.”
