Toymaster’s 12 Days of Christmas campaign hailed a success

The popular 12 Days of Christmas competition sees the independent buying group give away bundles of toys and games between 1st – 12th December. 

Toymaster has hailed its 12 Days of Christmas campaign a success following a busy period across its social media channels.

The campaign is put together in partnership with the suppliers that have supported the independent toy buying group’s annual Christmas Window Feature, which members can install for free at their stores. Toymaster created 24 prize bundles featuring the brands included in the window and these were given away over 12 days on Facebook and Instagram from 1st December.

Across both platforms, consumers were asked to like the post relating to each day’s giveaway, follow the Toymaster page, and tag a friend in the comments. The result was a huge increase in engagement and traffic, with each of the posts generating hundreds of likes and comments.

Brian McLaughlin, development manager at Toymaster, explains: “Our 12 Days of Christmas campaign has been extremely well supported by both suppliers and consumers. We reached over 100,000 potential customers during the 12 days of the competition. In addition to the prize bundle, every competition winner also receives a voucher to use in-store, which will hopefully drive footfall for our members. We’d like to thank all of our suppliers who have taken part in this activity.”

The bundles included toys and games from the likes of VTech, MGA Entertainment, Hasbro, Mattel, Schleich, Character Options, Asmodee, Brainstorm, Epoch Making Toys, Spin Master, Lego, Moose Toys and many more. All these suppliers have also taken part in Toymaster’s 2022 Christmas Window Feature.

The 12 Days of Christmas campaign is just one of the many ways Toymaster supports its members, with year-round window displays, twice-yearly catalogues, POS solutions, the Toymaster Information Management System and much more making the group a highly-valued and respected entity among independent toy retailers.
