Heathside Trading acquires Quantum Mechanix Inc.

Quantum Mechanix properties will integrate with existing ranges and brands from Heathside, including Master Replicas and Khadou.

Leading pop culture manufacturer and distributor Heathside Trading has announced it has acquired the intellectual properties and assets of Quantum Mechanix Inc, a pop culture company that creates toys, plush, gifts, apparel, games, prop replicas and resin collectibles, among many others.

Quantum Mechanix (QMx) was founded in 2006 and has released many fan favourite product lines which include Q-Figs, Zippermouth Plush and Mini Masters. There are also 12 other brands in the QMx portfolio.

“QMx customers and direct to consumer business will integrate with the ranges and brands that we have been developing, which include Master Replicas and Khadou brands,” said Darren Epstein EVP Global Business Development at Heathside. “This will allow us to leverage a wider range of collectibles from many of our partners and licensors. Our plan is to utilise the strength of some of the QMx IP and brands in 2024, and we look forward to adding to the Heathside expansion.’’

Heathside will continue to invest in growth for its business in both B2B and B2C, on products and partnerships.
