Gem bolsters strategic development team

Gem appoints Iain MacIntyre as strategic development manager.

Gem is delighted to announce the appointment of Iain MacIntyre. Iain will report directly to group strategic development director Alex Croft.

Iain joins Gem from Game, having occupied a variety of commercial roles, including digital category manager, charged with building the console and PC digital business; business development manager, looking after own-brand product development and creating licensed products; and senior category manager for software and accessories for all major publishers.

Alex Croft commented: “Iain brings with him a wealth of retail, licensing and merchandise experience and will be initially tasked with developing and supporting the groups digital business (Ztorm) whilst helping to grow and develop various new opportunities in relation to digital and physical products and services. I’m delighted in welcoming Iain to the team.”
