Everything you need to know about the June issue of Toy World, how you can get involved and the deadlines to make a note of.
Published at the start of June, work is already underway on our next edition, which will include comprehensive category features on Arts & Crafts/Creative Play, Infant Toys, and Action Figures & Collectibles, as well as regular features such as Talking Shop, Letter from America, Allegedly, all the latest industry news and a selection of exclusive interviews.
This issue will also have a licensing focus and feature an extended Licensing World section, which will be open to both licensors and licensees. There will be a dedicated Hot Properties section which – as the name suggests – focuses on licensed property info from licensors, and a separate section featuring Character Licensed Merchandise, which will allow licensees to showcase their latest licensed launches. With Licensing Expo on the horizon, the June issue will also give Vegas exhibitors the chance to shine a spotlight on their characters and brands, putting them in front of the decision-makers in the kids’ space.
The deadline for editorial in the June issue will be the 2nd May, and the deadline for adverts will be the 15th May. With several Bank Holidays in May this year, please ensure you plan for these deadlines in good time.
For further information regarding editorial opportunities, contact Rachael Simpson-Jones, editor, rachael@toyworldmag.co.uk or Marianna Casal, editorial assistant, on Marianna@toyworldmag.co.uk.
To find out more about advertising opportunities, in this or any other issue, contact Mark Austin, sales director, mark@toyworldmag.co.uk. A couple of ad slots remain on our Licensing.biz website for May and June, to further enhance upcoming licensing coverage, but are expected to be filled quickly.
