The first Star Trek Discovery figure in the Mego range will launch exclusively in the UK with B&M stores. 

Star Trek Discovery returns to screens in mid-October, and alongside the much-anticipated release, Heathside Trading has announced the release of the first Star Trek Discovery figure in the Mego range, which will launch exclusively in the UK with B&M stores.

The Saru figure will be available together with other characters in the Mego range. Both Michael Burnham and Captain Pike will be released before the end of the year with an extensive launch plan for other new licences scheduled for 2021.

Heathside has continued to launch new figures throughout the year, and with licences such as Star Trek, IT, Lord of the Rings, Stan Lee and many others on the way, the brand has deep roots with the collector base, having been such an iconic brand in the 1970s.

Max Nelson from Heathside commented: ”The success at mass retail in the USA, with the likes of Walmart and Target is something we have been looking at, and we have slowly introduced many lines here to great success and sell through. The line will be expanding in 2021 and we look forward to launching new licences through the year.”
