TKC has confirmed the appointment of industry veteran Jon Birch as sales director for TKC’s Toy & Gift category.
Matt Woodruffe, director at TKC Sales, commented: “I worked with Jon extremely well for over 10+ years when he was sales director at Wow! Stuff and we delivered many a good opportunity. Therefore, when he recently became ‘available’ pulling in his expertise and experience for our benefit was a no-brainer, with a focus on growing the opportunities and customers we serve.”
Jon added: “I am delighted to be joining the team at TKC sales, and looking forward to working with Matt to drive the sales building up to Christmas 2019. I’m also excited about the opportunities for 2020; we’re launching three fantastic new brands to the market at the London Toy Fair in January.”
TKC Sales was founded in October 1989 as The Kite Company and has since grown and diversified, representing a number of active leisure and action sports brands through a variety of retail channels in The UK and Ireland. The toy trade has always been an important territory for TKC’s outdoor fun and skills toys since first exhibiting at London Toy Fair in 1996.
