Sesame Street character Elmo was at Hamleys’ Regent Street store with free toys, cookies and balloons for visitors.

Sesame Street fans were treated to fun and free character soft toys and cookies when Elmo dropped into Hamleys’ Regent Street store to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day on Friday 17th February.

The half-term holiday event was organised with Just Play, which recently launched its Potty Time Elmo at Hamleys and has a range of other Sesame Street products stocked across Hamleys stores. Elmo was also in the Hamleys Regent Street window earlier this month when a giant version of the Potty Time Elmo was unveiled.

With Potty Time Elmo, Elmo, who stands 12” tall, will say when he needs to go and urges kids to hurry as he needs to use his potty. He then congratulates the child on their success. Helping children, and parents, to master potting training, Potty Time Elmo also features 40 sounds and phrases.

Just Play UK discussed its new Sesame Street range in the January issue of Toy World, detailing everything readers need to know about the raft of new licensed toys coming to market in 2023 for the powerhouse pre-school brand.

First teased in September 22, the all-new Just Play product line will showcase fan-favourite characters across plush, feature plush, figures and electronic learning aids, all of which are linked closely to the intrinsic values of Sesame Steet and will help children grow smarter, stronger and kinder. The company says the Just Play range promises to deliver the most giggle-inducing, interactive and fun toys launching in the UK this spring, with further new items launching in autumn.
