L.O.L. Surprise! returns to Camp Bestival for its second year

Published on: 4th July 2019

L.O.L Surprise! will be bringing an exclusive range of entertainment and hosting a performance in the festival’s Big Top tent.

This summer, MGA Entertainment’s L.O.L. Surprise! is returning to the UK’s favourite children’s festival, Camp Bestival as it secures a sponsorship deal for the second year.

The exciting partnership will feature the very best of the collectible phenomenon within a dedicated area throughout three action packed days, taking place between 26th-28th July. The L.O.L. Surprise! activation will be bigger this year, occupying a 20m by 15m area, situated within the festival’s Kids Garden. Family festival-goers can expect to get an exclusive first look at the new ranges, dress like their favourite L.O.L. doll character, strut their stuff on the catwalk and immerse themselves in the world of L.O.L. Surprise!.

As part of the sponsorship L.O.L. Surprise! will be given numerous opportunities to engage with the festival’s audience, whilst bringing an exclusive range of entertainment and hosting a unique performance in the festival’s Big Top tent on Saturday 27th July.

Samantha Wilson, marketing director at MGA Entertainment, said: “Following the success of last year’s event, we knew L.O.L. Surprise! needed to make a return to Camp Bestival in 2019. We’re really excited to be teaming up once again with this iconic summer event. It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with our audience and this year is guaranteed to be even bigger and better, with unique performances on one of the festival’s biggest stages and a surprise meet & greet in the L.O.L. tent.”

Bruce Hay, communications & marketing manager, added: “We’re delighted to welcome L.O.L. Surprise! back to Camp Bestival for the second year running. The brand is a perfect fit with our younger audience, and its activation and performance will bring so much added value to the event.”

The sponsorship will be supported with top tier influencer partnerships, full digital support and retailer activity.
