PlayMonster to showcase innovation across portfolio at Toy Fair

Published on: 19th January 2024

PlayMonster UK is looking forward to showcasing an impressive line-up at UK Toy Fair 2024, where it will be exhibiting on Stand G10.

PlayMonster UK’s games portfolio goes from strength to strength with new games concepts joining the ranks. Order Up: Fish Market (AW24) is a fast paced, intense fish throwing, collaborative game of team-work, as players race to fulfil orders in this time pressured game. It comes with a hilarious fish timer with flopping tail. Fast Blast (SS24) is a frenzied, on-trend game, matching colours and numbers that is quick, easy and fun. Following the successful Pigs on Trampolines game is a new frantic action game; Flying Squirrels: Feeder Frenzy (AW24) where players race to fling squirrels at targets and collect the most nuts in a feeder frenzy. The game is set to be a big success with the support of social, digital and TV.

The beloved and iconic brand, Playskool, will be distributed and supported with newly developed baby and pre-school toys by PlayMonster.  The new range will be reimagined and marketed to engage millennial parents and a new generation of kids. Highlights include the Classic Glo Worm with a new design and lullaby sound features, a selection of new Active Play Pre-school toys, plus the famous Sit ‘N Spin classic activity toy, Explore ‘N Grow Ball Popper and Bounce ‘N Ride. The new Original MagnaTab is a Montessori-learning, sensory-based drawing tablet that uses magnets and a stylus to teach letters, shapes and numbers.

There is also innovation in the best-selling FabLab portfolio with unique new sets: FabLab Airbrush Artist (AW24), which enables  fans to add cosmetic colour, patterns and freestyle shapes to their hair and body with an electronic professional spray machine; and the FabLab Jelly Glow Jewellery (AW24), which is created through resin-based light-up jewellery and hair accessories. The glow range will also be extended with Glow-in-the-dark Glitter Tattoos, Hairlights, and a all-in-one Glow Party kit (AW24). PlayMonster continues to use cosmetic bio-glitter in the FabLab range and test to cosmetic standards and is PETA approved.

The Spirograph portfolio continues to grow with Spirograph Doodle Pals and Spirograph Draw-Rings, which create amazing stencil-shaped spirograph designs with the perfect combination of art and mathematics.

New playsets are also set to join the magical My Fairy Garden Grow & Play range, featuring large growing areas, more creative activities, decorations, lights & sounds, adorable woodland animals, unicorns and beautiful articulated fairy dolls.

Justin Clasby, international Marketing director, commented: “We are showing real innovation in our 2024 range across our portfolio at Toy Fair. Our new games range is already predicted to be a real catch, and Spirograph is stronger than ever. With a loyal nostalgic audience and new family audiences buying into the creative play-patterns, the brand is up 36% FY 2024 and now No.2 in reusable drawing (Circana, Dec 24). We have ambitious strategies in place for the relaunch of the much-loved Playskool range. With 68% UK awareness through nostalgia, and over half of mums being familiar with the brand, Playskool retains its strong recognition for quality baby and pre-school toys.”

Sales enquiries should be addressed to trade@playmonster.com, and the full range can be seen at Toy Fair on Stand G10.
